Fun Walk for all

Sunday 6th December 2015, at Whitwell & Reepham Station, Whitwell Rd, Reepham, NR10 4GA. The weather was kind.  Well-attended and a great success, chocolates and champagne raffle raised a significant amount!

Quiz Nite

Once again folks, you didn’t let us down. Norfolk Greyhound Rescue held its first Quiz Nite and it was a total success! With 98 people attending, we were packed out. It was like a picnic indoors.

Huge thanks to Hazel and Adele Zantini who donated Christmas hams, which two lucky quizzers won. Also the Bell Public House (Wetherspoons) who donated a voucher for £20.00.

Christmas Fayre

NGR held their first official engagement on Sunday 8th November, a Christmas Fayre in Norwich. As you caIMG4_0734n see from the pictures it was well attended by both hounds and supporters alike. [Click on the pictures to enlarge them]

Our boozy Christmas tombola took £113 all of which was donated by neighbours and friends of Norfolk Greyhound Rescue (donations are always very welcome any time of the year). Adele and Hazel Zantini had a cake bake stall, selling some delicious buns with our houndie Logo. Thanks girls, for the fab donation of £30.

On the day we had a massive donation from Di Wright of Buntys Bikket Barrel, who gave £150 to the NGR fund. Thanks very much Di.

IMG2_0733We had lots of stalls, Aart Norfolk with her beautiful stain glass merchandise, Jim Griffiths came along with some stunning artwork. Jim has also donated a pet portrait to be auctioned off on the NGR Auction for the Hounds facebook page. Clae Aht Smith came along with some beautiful handmade cards and chinaware. This lovely lady is going to have NGR as her sponsored charity in 2016, along with and Boomerjacks collars.

On the day we raised a massive £860.00 We cannot thank enough everyone who came along, donated and helped on the day.
